Marisa's car was broken into. Smashed the driver's side window, reached in and took the XM Satellite receiver. They did not, however, take the cradle or the XM Passport. Samsung doesn't make that receiver anymore. Without the passport, the receiver is useless. Without the receiver, I am useless.Awesome. At least we can take some solace in the fact

The luckiest part is that the perp is both dumb and a chickenshit because they smashed the window, grabbed the receiver, and ran off without even looking at anything else. There was shit in the trunk, shit in the glove compartment, including the GPS...and it was most likely shit that was worth more than a useless piece of plastic. Sounds like it was most likely kids that did it, but that's still fucking irritating and moderately scary.

her insurance is covering the broken window, and the sat receiver is an easy replacement. Really, the most fucked up thing about the whole car is how many crazy things happen TO it that's beyond her control. So far it's been rear-ended twice, the front bumper was destroyed mysteriously in the parking lot of her job, a pin from the parking spot block stuck up too far and ripped through the front bumper once, and now this. Her car is cursed dude.
