I don't think we've ever met. But up until a few months ago I was just another person looking on at the then-EDF from afar as a civilian. And so many stories about you are true. Not just about the GDF as a whole, but you personally.

Be strong, so when this is all over and you've come back to Lat and the rest things will still be the same.

Hey man! How goes it? Guess what, we beat the Aerogaters! Even though things seemed impossible, we managed to break through the White Star and beat the bosses. We did great, goes to show how friends, teamwork, and faith can work together.

Simon, you're a true great pilot and a great member to GDF. I really think you're innocent! I really do!

I'm sorry I haven't been in touch lately. You know that feeling you get, where it's like you're everywhere at once, but nowhere at the same time? And your mind is spinning from everything's that happened, and you can't even hope to make sense of it all... yeah, that's how I've been.

But this letter isn't about me, it's about you. I just wanted to thank you, before I missed my chance. For everything you've done for me. Christmas is a time to treasure our loved ones, after all. It sucks that not everyone here sees you the same way I do, as a hero. But trust me, we're all rooting for you.

It goes without saying, because I know you too well at this point, but don't give up. Because of you, I'm not afraid of what's going to happen. It'll turn out alright. For you, for us, for everyone. We'll get Nia back, too. That's a promise.

I think I'm tearing up a little again, so I'll stop it here. Keep up the fighting spirit, okay?

I am not sure what to say, other than I miss having you around. It is not the same without you on the base. But I promise that I will be strong and will not give up on anything.

Although I am sure you probably are not in a mood to enjoy Christmas, I have included a little something in with my letter. I hope that you will enjoy it.
