What do you mean by an entertainment company? You want to start a radio show? Tv channel? Comedy club? Strip club? I'm a little lost there...

Anyway, if you want to start and run the company you should probably take management or marketing and read alot of books on entrepreneurship. I can give you access to my Wall Street Journal name if you're serious. Also, it takes alot of money to start a company so you will have to work somewhere and save for a few years beforehand.

Actually, I want an animation studio. I don't know how well that will go, but I'm willing to try.

And I'm definintly serious ^^

Yeah, I know about the money bit from my dad. He tried (and is still trying) to open his own heating and air business. Since he didn't save up before hand all the money he makes goes into equipment for the business so he doesn't actually make very much money.

I have a couple ideas for what I want to do other than that, so it's not like want this as something to make a lot of money. Don Bluth is a great animator and his company made some great films but it still went bankrupt. XP

Well, it will be very difficult to open an animation studio in America. Even Disney doesn't do its own animations here in the US due to the extreme amount of time required to make a film that most likely will go straight to DVD. If you have a story in mind, I recommend fully writing out the entire script. Then, you will need to do preliminary drawings of each character and pretty much every object you want to be specified ( ... )
