[ Touma was sitting at his desk, sighing at his math homework -- simple stuff, compared to what he had assigned back home -- when he hears a sound to his side. It wasn't anything hitting the house, but instead there was a gentle whiff and a dull thud on his bed.

Looks like an egg blew right in, its speedy advance halted by the gentle slope of the billowing curtain it was caught in, and then it ended up deposited, whole, on his mattress.

If Touma hadn't watched it happen, he wouldn't have believed it. ]

[ Egg in hand, he pushes the curtain aside and looks down toward the front yard. ]

--oi. What's going on?

[ And Touma comes back to find her... very excited about doing such a simple thing. Just how old is this girl? It reminds him of a certain someone, even if he can't see what she looks like. ] ...right. Good job.

[ He props up the ladder against the side of the house. ] Alright, do you want to wash the higher spots, or lower?

Okay then. [ And he'll turn on the faucet to pour some water in the bucket that slowly starts to foam from the bit of cleaner in the bottom. He drops the sponge in. ] Go on up, and I'll pass you the bucket. [ There is a complete lack of attention to her clothing at this point. Is she wearing a skirt? ]

Alright! [[she nods and slowly starts up the ladder.

as for wearing a skirt? yes, she is! while the ones she found are not as short as the one she usually wore at home, skirts are the only thing nia ever wears.]]

[ Touma waits for the bucket to be full before shutting off the hose and walking over to hoist the bucket up above his head and--

He sputters and closes his eyes, unsteadily holding the bucket up above his head despite not being able to see what he's doing. ] H-hey, just hurry up and take it already! [ Please don't pummel him after this, either; he didn't mean to look. These things just happen. It's canon, and it could be worse. ]

Right! [[she reaches down and grabs it, seemingly unsuspecting of... anything, really. she doesn't really think about things like accidental upskirt peeking. she gets to work with cleaning the egg off.]]

[ --that's weird. When the bucket leaves his hands and doesn't, for example, find itself upturned on his head, he looks distinctly... surprised.

Something is so wrong about all this. Touma shakes his head and crouches back to get to the hose and begin to spray down the spot on the front door, and one of the windows. ] Yeah, I guess you got... lucky that I heard you. [ He means that seriously, and the words feel strange on his lips. ]

[ A weak chuckle. ] Yeah, there would have been...

[ What an odd girl. Knowing who he knows (or can remember, rather), that's saying a bit. ] What's your name, anyhow? I'm Touma.

My friend, Denmark. [[well, they're not really "friends" as much as they are "people who literally just first talked to each other about an hour ago". but, she likes to think that makes them friends.]] He said it would be fun, and it was, but it is not so fun if it is damaging to other people.
