I absolutely adore your arwork! I think it is one of the most amazing, beautiful, unique styles and ideas I have ever seen! Brava, to you!! I am an artist, as well.. but I dont think my stuff is half as good.. personally. lol
Thanks for your comment Mary-Nicole and sharing your art with me. I enjoyed your site and keep at it. May I have permission to post your quote on my website and future publishing materials along with your age and last name if that's alright with you? I especially like what you said about women's cycles. When I receive feedback like yours, I feel understood. Thanks again.
Thank you... your comment was touching, as well. And don't listen to anyone who is critical of your style, or unique medium. You are an artist, and a great one. Screw people... they judge what they dont understand, or what they envy. As an artist, I adore your work. It amazes me. And so far, so do you.
I added you to my friends list.
Yes, you have permission to quote me. *blush* And I will link to your site, and art, on my own site, if that is alright with you. Take care.. :)
What method did you use to make the designs for your art? Did you save up the blood... and use it later? Or paint it with a brush whenever it was that time of the month? This is intriguing to me... please let me know how it was done! :)
Thanks for your permission. Yes, you may link to my works, of course.
I don't have a method for making my designs. I create the paintings as I go. Sometimes I don't have any idea what the painting will be until I'm already far into the work. Then I decide what it can or might be and I take it further from there.
If I cannot use my menstrual blood immediately after removing my keeper, then I store my blood in a tight jar and conceal that in a brown paper bag and keep it in the freezer until I'm ready to make paintings. That way it is preservered well. I prefer painting during the menstrual period rather than later, otherwise it is not so much a menstrual journal or documentation of that menstrual cycle. But when circumstances prevent me from making paintings in the moment of time to which they belong, that's the best choice.

Thats disturbingly sick. But, at the same time, its art...
Congradulations or "your one sick person"
Take it either way...
