these are an intersting development. I don't think they are quite up to the level attained by the red caligraphic pieces yet, but they are still cool, and kudos for branching out into new territory. They have a sunny Sam Francis vibe about them

Do these still include menstrual blood, or are they straight acrylic?

Ooh.. very nice. I like this. It has a kind of.. order to the chaos? I can't explain it.

I just found your site via a link someone on DeviantArt posted. =D I had to comment on this painting. The way the colors flow together and the way they seem to *move* is really beautiful. Just like the wind.

I think it's awesome that you use menstrual blood in your artwork. It forced me to look at my cycle in a different way, a more positive one. It also reminded me of the ancient witches who used their menstrual blood for spellwork because it was the most potent and personal thing they *could* use.

I'm glad I followed the link to you. =D

I get that your works are made with menstrual blood. But to me that does not make them "of and about menstruation." A vivid painting of a woman menstruating done in standard acrylics would be more about menstruation.

Your images are very nice, but the menstrual blood almost seems like a gimmick.

I understand the idea of the message of the medium, but I think it is drowned out by the message of the images. Why not use the menstrual blood to paint a menstruation woman? Or heck, really mix it up and paint a menstruating man.

Obviously just my thoughts. Overall I like the works and am giving some thought to purchase.
