So the good news is that I finally found the missing mouse trap... with one small foot in it. And eventually the smell dissipated

Indeed. I've started to get paranoid that my clothing smells like dead animal. Which I know they don't, I didn't put them in the dryer, but yet I get this phantom smell that I'm mostly sure is just in my head.

Ok admittedly I don't know jack shit about nice, but couldn't the exterminator guy focus on keeping them OUT of your house in the first place?? Yucky.

Yeah. I'm beginning to think the cure is worse than the illness. While I knew they were there and very near to door I use daily, they were mostly keeping to themselves. And I do hate killing things, even if they are ground hornets.:(
