I think it's just the feeling that comes along with being a sniper. It's very IC to do a lot of called shots. I think it's okay though, especially in this case (if you mean tonight) since we're basically fighting a horde of gumbies.

When you're naturally so much better than everyone else in every way, as is true in this case, then it's only naturally to feel a little twinky and guilty that fate and nature have so overblessed you with awesome that there wasn't really enough left to go around for everyone else.

And by everyone else, I mean in all of history.

As Chibodee Crockett's player, a man who has to go too far just to do an enter pose, I can tell you that the best way to handle those feelings of anxiety is to point out his mortality. Human foibles -- wrestling with fear, uncertainty and doubt -- are a good way of reminding the audience that as great as this person is, he's still well aware of the impossibility of the tasks he faces.

It makes it more meaningful when he overcomes those problems when people know he was just as afraid as they were, but the first battle he had to win was with his own terror.

It can be tricky. I actually have had this problem with Tessa more than Genome, which is pretty bizarre. I think it is in part because their original source pretty much goes THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST THING EVER, FOR SERIOUS. They're battle-hardened super-soldiers with the best skills in the world, are too well-trained and professional for your human 'uncertainty', etc. etc gatoh likes a power fantasy.

I handle it with Tessa by explaining the ways in which she is an eternal worry-wart, although perhaps that contributes to my occasional burnout c_c

Related: We will have to go back to smashing things soon.

Lord Genome radiates 'do not fuck with me' whereas Tessa is significantly more adorable. People WANT to sell Genome's unstoppability so there isn't the guilt there, whereas Tessa's hardkoreness is significantly more subtle and also adorables and so elicits different reactions commonly--Peresonally I am totally comfortable with Tessa getting all hardkore because no matter how hardkore she is, she's still got all those complexes.

Kurz Weber is cool but his ultimate skill doesn't seem to come up in the FMP stuff I've read and even when it did, he died horribly after.
