I just had my dissertation results and I passed. I just told two different people my grades and got told "Well done that's a 2:1!!".

That was based on this years credits only. Last years were a mix of both good and bad.

I passed.

Holy crap!!!

Also, management is going so, so well. I love PICU. No jobs anywhere though apparently.

There's plenty of jobs around for newly-qualified RMNs in South Wales. You'll be fine.

The acute, EMI and rehab directorates of Cardiff and Vale Trust usually all make a point of bunging out a recruiting round to coincide with when a cohort is about to qualify.

I was hoping that was what was goig to happen. ABM has some sort of recruitment freeze going, althought their main Acute ward is partially closed at the moment while it's being refurbished so they have surplus staff covering other wards.

I've heard Caswell have jobs coming up but nothing yet. Haven't found a single job to apply for yet and I feel like I should have by now. Cheecking Cardiff and Vale/ABM/Cwm Taff daily just in case though...

I swear I didn't get this via e-mail but basically I have 4.5 weeks of final placement left and 1 day of Uni which is when I register as a nurse :)
