Pizza & TV last night was pretty cool. Seeing the peoples for general relaxing and chilling on a weeknight is a good thing. Top Chef continues to entertain me, and is one of my few boob tube indulgences recently (the others being Heros and Studio 60, of course). My girlfriend is kinda awesome, and a more better favorite than chocolate.

This season of Top Chef is kind of annoying me. It's been more about the drama they can stir up, rather than, you know, cooking. I can totally see right through the producer's games.

I don't disagree: last season was much better, but the drama is still entertaining me. Last season had characters where we could focus more on their culinary perspective, this year personality isn't tied as much to cooking style. Not much the producers can do about it, and yeah it's TV, when isn't ReeAlItEeeTeeVee a little predictable? We're getting closer to just having the awesomer chefs left who will start to become responsible for more elaborate and refined dishes and meals.

True! ..but that's *IF* they stop pairing them up! Obviously this crew doesn't work so well together.. I want to see more of what they can do alone! I suppose they have to stop doing that eventually, when it really whittles down, though...

They're already playing with it a little. Judging 8 or 9 seperate dishes is a little much, but the TGIF and Thanksgiving were both people working on their own things, though thanksgiving kinda required a little co-op work to create a menu, there were still clearly defined course assignments. And the crew does work well together a bit, they just hate doing it and want to kill each other when they leave the kitchen.
