Funny thing. I got a violin a couple of weeks ago and am also in the process of making screechy noises. Perhaps we should have a screechy trio for xmas?

That's funny. great minds....

we could definitely do a screechy trio...but only if you plan on coming to chicago for the winter. We're not going to make it back for christmas - not enough vacation time. :-\

i got an ABCs of violin DVD which i will have to figure out how to rip and send you. the teacher is fairly obnoxious, but it has been somewhat helpful with the basics.

oh that would be fabulous. I don't mind an annoying instructor as long as they actually teach me something, you know? So yeah. Chicago Christmas Subway Violin Trio (CCSVT) shall screech out the warm fuzzies of the holidays.
