I have a talk on Nawal El-Saadawi, author of Woman at Point Zero, and being the thing I am, I've only just started prepping it (it's for Tuesday). And she is so. damn. cool. Wow. It's really astonishingly joyful how many amazing women there are in the world if one will only look. She's coming to Leeds to give a talk next october. She's 76. How cool

don't worry the last interview i gave was over the phone and they rang me when i was a sleep so i probably sounded like a massive stoner. i also wasn't expecting it and had almost no idea of what to say.
