Facebook =/= Real Life

It's kinda getting under my skin that occasionally, when I send a "Hey, how you doin? Want to meet up to discuss xyz / need to talk to you about abc" email or text, the recipient answers back with some varation of the following: "Won't be free. Haven't you seen my Facebook Status/ Twitter updates
