I remember reading something about how, if humans were removed from the planet, the planet would pretty much not notice. If ants were removed, everything would come to a grinding halt within five days. Edmund O. Wilson maybe?

You know, I didn't even remember that dream until I had already written most of that post?
The bit that reminded me was the bit that I took out - how one of the sure signs of summer for me is Adam Ant on the cd player, and last week, with 'B-Side Babies,' it officially became summer.
