I'm curious - what do you mean by "people who have no center"?

People who have no center are people who drift through life, sometimes quite busily, but without an understanding of who they are or why they are alive. They have no core beliefs, or at least not any that are discernable. They might be passionate about one thing one moment and switch their passion to something else the next because the passion grows out of interest but not conviction. They commit on only a superficial level.

One thing that a belief in God can give people is a center, but people can be religious without really having their lives centered on God. In biblical terms these are people who have "built their house on sand."

All this is something of what I meant.
