This evening, I just spent four hours researching the path of becoming a writer, as well as reading multitudes of articles written by published authors about the long, hard, and often times soul-crushing details of the literary world. Money, fame, fortune, and that house on the beach in Hawaii is not what makes a writer. The passion and desire to write, whether as a career or for yourself, is what makes you a writer.

Yeah I write as well (I'm wierd doing art, written work AND photography) and you wouldn't believe how AUGH inducing reading something from a couple of years back is. Why don't these typos and dead end paragraphs stand out back then? Then you see little snippets that make you think GOD I wish I could still write like that :)

Incidently on a fanforum I mod the Fanfiction and Fanart and you'd be amazed what sparks off and rolls around just from that alone. I suppose it always helps I enjoy royally trashing a happy fluffy universe and bringing it back to reality kicking and screaming too :D
