I HATE the "Jindai is Shinji's father" theory. I hate how popular and widely accepted it is, I hate how the most of the fandom handles it, and I hate some of the implications of it.

tbh the only reason why i'd like to know who his parents are is so i can tell them "i really like what you did, your son, i mean ;)"

but yeah honestly... drama isn't my thing so i just roll my eyes at daddy issues, it's so lame (also, why care about daddy issues when shinji has canon aniki issues)

Like, there's literally no point in it???? His issues with his aniki are enough. Him and his brother have a really interesting relationship and people should just focus more on that rather than the issues that don't exist. (I once read a really nice fanfic that delved into their relationship and past as brothers. I wish people wrote more stuff like that.)
