pero naiintindihan ko yung ginawa mo. mahirap na kasing magpadala sa mga posibleng modus operandi. di mo rin masisigurong sa gamot o pagkain mapupunta yung perang ibibigay mo.

pero kung tutuusin. hindi ko alam kung bakit ganito na tayo mag-isip. na parang lahat na manlilimos dapat paghinalaan natin.

my ad teacher said that we should give alms to the poor. or better yet, give them food. at least if we give food, even if they are part of the modus operandi, it wouldn't matter except for their tiny stomachs. it was teacher's voice i kept hearing kaya i was guilty! :-/

I don't believe in giving alms to street beggars, so I think what you did was okay. As one of my teachers said, people give them money usually not because of charity. They give because of guilt, and this is not the best motivation for giving.

Maybe if you want to make up for what you did, or if you want to help kids like them, it will be best if you give to your parish or to charity organizations like Red Cross. They have well-structured programs to help the poor. ;)

yeah, but charity-wise, i'd rather teach than give donation. though i do have a stock of unused clothes i've been meaning to donate. my cabinet's full of clothes i don't wear which do not fit my bro so better give 'em, right? thinking where i should pa :)

Ay naku, ako rin nagguilty palagi... pero i guess ako yung reason ko kaya ayaw ko magbigay (and malamang reason din ng maraming tao) kasi iniisip natin hindi totoo. When I read your blog entry, naisip ko sinugatan nung bata yung leg nya para makahingi ng pera. *sigh* very doubtful tlga ako... :o

don't give. it only encourages them to beg even more. they should be in school studying not begging out in the streets. their parents should be guilty not they.
