The thunderstorm lasted just about all day today. There was so much thunder and lightning.... I loved it.

At 12 noon I was all by myself and just watching YYH with all the lights off and it was so pitch dark that for a moment I pondered to myself, "Is it 12 noon? Or 12 midnight?"

Other than that I did mucho shopping! Grr because the bank was closed ( Read more... )

oh... i guess that's a really good point. hey, is it possible to be good at everything and AMAZING at certain things? i so wish hahahaha!

yeah i guess you're right, there is only one girlie i can think of who really likes her job doing that, but there could be more who knows. i havne't asked many people haha.

and thanks! it was fun! except that it stormed half way through so i couldn't go on many coasters. :'( dragster was closed down like the whole time, but i DID go on millenium again at least. :D

There's nothing wrong with being well-rounded, it's actually kind of useful in life. Plus, you kinda are rather good at everything :-P

Have an AMAZING time at Cedar Point today!! I tried calling you last night but you didn't answer :-( I'll try again sometime soon, but not today because you are at Cedar Point. Although I suppose I could talk to you on the bus ride home...we'll see.

Love you!

" I couldn't imagine doing this for the rest of my life."

i think everyone thinks that about their first job lol and dans right, its usually cause they dont have any other choice, they dont have money for college or they already have a family or something like that.

Hey.. I am one of those poeple who excel at and love my FFHR (fast food hamburger restaraunt) job. AND I won't even do this forever. Even I get to be the resteraunt manager someday, I still am leaving when I get my law degree... don't be discouraged... cashiering is hard but you will do fine becuase you have such a great personality- that is like the #2 thing. First is learning the menu! Ha ha. Love, Gina

lol yeah!!! you LOVE your job!!!
hmm yeah i can see why you'd go into law over fast food buisness, but you must be good at it because you're a manager and everything already!
awwwwwww thanks Gina! yeah that's really good advice... for me to learn the menu, because people always ask me about dressing and stuff hahahah!
i love you!

My first job involved sitting for 8 hours at a time and being a bitch to people that tried to get into the pool without their paperwork on file. Needless to say, I was bad at the first part and was pretty good at the second part. If I was still doing it today, I would have read most of the rochester library, and reduced a good number of small children and old ladies to tears.

Of the two bosses I've had at my internship, I've probably been a better engineer than either of them. They're not my boss because they could do my job - they're my boss because they know enough to direct me, plus have management skills.

Being good at one thing isn't necessarily the best way to go, and can be damn inconvenient if you really don't like doing that one thing.

Hope you had fun at Cedar point.
