so i didn't make it to the next round in the vocal contest. pops told me he got a revelation from god about it before hand and so i had to change my songs. i feel like i was forced to hold back

:::men come in looking for the excitement that they can't get at home, so they come to the VU. girls with low self esteem get their daily boost when one of these guys asks for a lapdance. money spent for fake love. the more i see this cycle, the more i feel like it's all around me. some form of fake love for money. sex for having a cool car. even at the club. dancing for drinks.

it makes it so hard to trust people. it's hard to see into the soul of a beautiful woman when the lights are low and she's full of liquor. i can't trust any one cuz i think she wants something that i can't give.::::::

Not everything in life is fake. Sometimes things are just plain screwed up. They will have a way of working out. But in the meantime, if everything is plaguing your beautiful mind that much, take a step back. Put things in your life back into perspective. Just learn to breathe, recognize the beauty and joy in everyday occurences. If you focus on the black there will be no lines, no shades of gray, and certainly no light. Don't block and fool yourself.
