My Review of "Warrior"
So, I decided to spend my Wednesday by going to see a couple movies that I really wanted to see.I decided to start with the movie written and directed by Gavin O'Conner. I've included the trailer for anyone interested:
I went into this movie expecting a good fight movie (which it is) and came out of the theater completely in love. This movie sucker punched me (pun intended). I was not expecting to love it the way I did. The filming approach was refreshing and made it feel more like a documentary (without the one on one interviews). The two men who play the brothers, Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton, are stunning in their roles. Their portrayals of Tom Riordan and Brendan Conlon are wonderful and so very under-rated. I cannot seem to say enough about this film. But unfortunately, my words have run out. I got distracted by the pretty "Flashpoint" people on my screen.
