Men and Food

There's a men's workshop at Skyote for the weekend. They have their own routines for meals and do it themselves (rather than paying me to cater). I do have to be present with some guidance in the kitchen when they are getting meals together, just to help with where things are. It really was pretty funny. I was so horrified that they were eating it - then I had to reassure those who had already had some that actually it wouldn't hurt them, there wasn't anything awful in it, just not what I'd consider presentable in a soup. Bones, gristle, vegetable ends - geez!

Gosh, those ingredients are reminiscent of a chicken version of a basic bowl of Vietnamese Pho with its tendons and gristle. It is quite delicious says those who like the vegetable and beef soup.

Checking out your profile, you seem like someone I'd like to know, too! My brother is a lighting designer in NYC, so I may be able to follow some of that stage lighting jargon (or at least it will be familiar).
