So, I gave the presentation due today and finished the 2 papers due tomorrow. One might need a little reviewing but it is essentially there. Now I only have one more paper to write and all it is is a "summing up" essay. 1000 words about what I learned or got out of the class. Not bad. Not difficult. I played the drums in the marching band from 3rd to 6th grade. I was fairly horrid the first two years and I really never got all that good, but then that is because my parents weren't really big on me practicing at home. I don't blame them. I finally won a medal in a solo contest in 5th grade (I almost said "senior year".. heh). I couldn't believe that I won. I still don't. Besides my Bar Mitzvah, I don't really think I've ever practiced for anything like I did for that contest. I think that medal is the only medal/trophy that I've ever won for any sort of skill. It feels good to think about, but also kind of sad. I think there is something to say for kids winning medals and trophies. Hmmm.. Oh! My point was that I still get some of those marching tunes in my head from time to time. Kinda weird.. kinda funny.
