Very disturbing ...

This morning on my way into work, I saw something I never expected to see. I've started taking a new route which puts me northbound on I-20/59. As I was approaching the Bessemer area, I noticed police and fire-rescue on the southbound side of the interstate. There seemed to be some police tape positioned in a "v" shape from where the police cars

nbc came on and said they'll have a report at 11 and that counselors had been brought to mcadory because kids were getting to school and talking about it...

holy crap. how sad and disturbing. last week some guy in a truck ran through the riverwalk park in tuscaloosa, took a nose-dive through the turf and into the water where he drowned. today i was walking there and part of the the iron fence by the water is boarded over with the words "please keep away"... with the tire tracks still embedded in the grass. and all around people were sunbathing, playing frisbee, walking their dogs... it was surreal.
