Seventeenth Drop: by our powers combined (videopost)

(Sorrow is deliberately video-posting this time. In one hand is a flyer that flaps in the wind as he tries to hold it open. He turns his head toward the screen and waves the flyer at it. He looks more solemn than usual, his silver eyes intense as he manages to straighten out the paper in both hands and holds it so that the screen can show it ( Read more... )

I saw those, and I'm definitely joining those efforts!

That's really kind of you, to offer your residence as a shelter. Maybe we could even make multiple shelters - there are so many free apartments in the buildings, after all. But I don't really know how safe they are. Some strange stuff has already found its way in here...

Anyway, yeah. I'm helping.

Ah, brilliant! We always need more.

Thank you -- and yes, that is a brilliant idea, turning old or empty buildings into safe houses. In that way, we can have a neutral zone whereupon anyone can enter and not be afraid that the residents thereof will not be reliable.

What found its way in?

Good! Mister Lockon already knows. We talked about it the other day.

Yeah, I think that would be a good start!

Well... off the top of my head, the hair monster that haunted the whole City a few months ago.

Lockon is a good man. I have much confidence in this plan, knowing he has at the helm.

A few months? Ah, that was before my time! There is so much that I don't know. Have you been here a long time?

Well, I can't talk about his leadership qualities much, but he is a good person in my eyes.

Oh, my! Well, suffice to say it was freaky. And it got into the apartment buildings, and the apartments themselves.

... a year next month. And you?

A little over two months. Not so much, compared to many, and thus I will need the information of those who came before.

Mouse replied to one of the "Curse Brigade" posts. Does this mean that we have evidence to show that the deities do not control the curses?

Thanks a lot!

And that's interesting. Might very well be that they're toying with us, though. It's a lucky day when you can make heads or tails out of what they say...

If only they'd let me keep my notes from the visitor's day! But no, of course not...

It seems that they often talk us in circles, but I don't know if there is anything to glean from that or not. I would suspect, given what I've heard, that there may be strife amongst the deities or at least between them and their heretofore unmentioned "superior." Whoever he/she/it/they may be.

Your notes?

Yeah, I heard about the last part, too. But amongst each other?

I did some interviewing on the days on which the many visitors came. I took notes, since the last time that happened and I neglected to do so, my memory was pretty much wiped the day after. But they took my notes, too. Should've known, really.

Isn't there one deity who seems to take care of the citizens, and who seems to be displeased with our treatment at times?

(ooc: I'm thinking of too_nurturing, whatever her name was ><)

Really? I don't think I've met them, or heard much about them.

(OOC: Yup! Sabine it was, I think.)
