Thirty-Fourth Drop: fallen (actionpost/videopost)

[The camera is jerking and bouncing, thrashing around, until it smashes against a tree and cracks splinter down the screen. A  spatter of mud splashes onto the screen...it's hard to see anything.

Sorrow is a white blur, lashing out, shouting, his voice twisted into a war cry as he charges in with his judo and delivers cracking blows once, twice, and

[Geez, Sorrow. You need to stop doing this to Penny!

Fortunately--or unfortunately--she's still up and kind of restless, and the network post just about gives her a heart attack. Sorrow looks like he's out cold; replying won't do much good. Action time. The video feed looked like it was in the forest (a place she knows much better after traipsing around during the curse the other day), and off she goes. She does have her tranquilizer gun and a flashlight. She still doesn't exactly know how to use the gun, exactly, but having it makes her feel better.

It takes some time to find him. The forest is big and all of the trees kind of look the same to Penny, but a sense of urgency encourages her to keep looking.

She does, eventually, find him. Penny crouches next to him and touches his shoulder.]

[He's out like a light, a little pool of blood gathered under his head. It stains the tips of his hair and the surface of his skin an unnatural vivid red that clashes even more with the albino tones. Like a usual City Dead type, he has no need to breathe or have any reasonable blood flow; his breathing and pulse are silent, and he seems like a dead man as he lies there like a white shadow. The warmth to his flesh, though, is telling -- even though his body temperature is low, he isn't cold, and his lips are still ashen pink, not blue. He's alive, for what it's worth.

But he doesn't wake when she speaks.]

[ooc: wow, sorrow has lost some friends, no one else is saying anything...it gets lonely over here.]

[Penny doesn't know what to do. Would there be anyone at the hospital this late? Would she be able to find Sorrow again if she left? He's alive, but for how long? She checks out his injuries. It's not as if she can do much to help, but she ought to look...

She nudges his shoulder more urgently then sits back on the forest floor, quite at a loss.]

[ooc: I see. ;-; Er. I'm not up for Penny being vamped, but I'm not sure how to get her to leave without Sorrow waking up (and how to get it to jive with her fairly upbeat post today).]

[The injury is clear: two small holes on the side of his neck, mostly clotted by now. That seems to be the only source of bleeding; a bruise or two on his arms are all that is left of the scuffle from before, as his opponent spent most of the time deflecting instead of beating down the man.

From the holes are the trickles of blood, drying now, that made the pool under his head.]

[ooc: Penny won't be turned, don't worry :) Sorrow doesn't get the bloodlust until later, and I'm not sure if he can turn a vampire as per the canon that is changing him. Right now, he's just been blood-drained into unconsciousness.]
