i seek the abyss
it calls to me
i have traveled far to reach it
i am at the abyss

Hey, I got the consonant cluster right! Usually I slaughter that and get the vowels right.

Dammit. :)

If it were me, I would yell as loud as I could into it and see if it echos.

Tho I'm not sure you have sound-emission hardware.

In space, can nobody hear you scream?

Go ever onwards?
Or turn back, through the red sands
And venture elsewhere?

You go girl! That is so cool. The walls of the crater don't look as steep as I expected. Still it doesn't really look like there's much inside.

If I were you, I'd circumnavigate the perimeter to the left over to that little tin shack on the far lip. Make sure there's nothing really there and then I'd head for the mountains!! Off to the right.

Imagine what you'll be able to see from up top there! Plus which, you'll probably have a better shot at finding exposed bedrock on the sides of the mountains there.

Although you know, there really isn't anything visible in the crater to give it much scale... the crater could really be quite deep...
