This kind of realist social/moral alignment desperately needs to be more mainstream. If there was actually a group on the UNCG campus that didn't circle jerk their own belief system I'd consider looking into it, well, I suppose there could be one but I'd be unfamiliar with it.

Honestly you could probably have a round table discussion in Mary Foust between conservative and liberal minded folk, have a moderator to introduce a topic, and one or two people sitting at a laptop to fact check. If someone raises a point or wanted more information on the subject they could ask whoever was the Google whore to look up unbiased information or factual information to present to everyone. The moderator would have to be sort of a bull dog though and whip the crap out of anyone who started saying "LIBERAL FAGS KILL BABIES or BUSH PAYS FOR OIL IN AMERICAN BLOOD." I dunno, it could be interesting, you'd have to come up with rules though.

there's always the political awareness club :D. I went to the libertarian/democrat/republican debate about guns, social security, and trade. it was really good. the libertarians did well. I'm going to post my verdict when I finish my paper(I kept tabs). libertarians won by a narrow margin in my opinion.
