Facebook is a time suck. And if you want to keep in touch with friends, there are other ways of doing so. This way is, admittedly, convenient, but don't let anybody pressure you into joining, Greg. I only joined because I wanted to see pictures and the Beta Kappa Boys group.

i know, i know. but then again, how many things on the internet are NOT a time suck? I mean seriously... And its not like you have to sit there and poke every single one of your friends each time you sign on, or write a note or update your status. You dont need to put on puctures either. All I use it for is keeping up! I made like two notes total, and i put pictures on it becasue myspace doesnt like em and it is more fun than just having the pictures locked away on my computer in a file somewhere or whatnot
