wait, are you in oakland still? cos I went to a cash machine at jack london square earlier and there were all these cop cars and big black cars and I waited at the cash machine behind a dude in a suit with a little ear piece and it was all pretty funny considering how completely abandoned jack london square is at all times.

I'm in Berkeley! There are maybe-plans to extend bart to Alameda through Jack London Square and this excites me because it might help Oakland, city that I love, less of a shithole?
