i dance on the sand at midnight

beneath the softened light of

the moon's stars

i am chunky stomach and

over plump buttocks

bumpy thighs and

tell tale signs of

childbirth

but

the darkness doesn't care

about flawed perfection

i can dance with her

to the music of the waves

i can spin

i can jiggle

still she smiles

to the darkness

the weather is about to set a record for rain days I guess. It's not too cold and I can walk to work in like 3 mins.
