MMMMMMM...

Three avocado sandwiches and potato salad and Hero later, along with David's station in life = inner peace.

P.S. Now I'm going to watch a Kevin Smith movie, I'm not sure which I'm going to choose. But Kevin Smith = more inner peacier.

That all sounds fabulous, Dave. Except for avocado sandwiches (I assume.)

Kevin Smith movies are generally things of joy and inner peace to be sure.

You hear about the "Clerks" sequel? Bad idea...

No, it isn't a bad idea; http://aintitcoolnews.com/display.cgi?id=18282

And everyone who hasn't tried them thinks avocado sandwiches sound gross. But they are in fact the best things ever. Just ask God.

I first learned of Kevin Smith in Canada two or three years ago. We watched "Clerks" and "Mallrats."

"Mallrats" deserves its reputation, it's pretty mediocre. Especially when compared to "Clerks."

*reads link* Well that sounds a little hopeful...But (A) it's like a sequel to "Lost in Translation" (to a less extent) in that I really don't want to know what happens to the people. And (B) Kevin Smith, though awesome, has made some sub-quality flicks and nothing beats the original "Clerks"...
And (C) very few sequels have been good in the history of the world, I don't think Smith can make one to add to that short list.

I could be wrong, though. I hope so.

Wow, who knew I had such passion for the subject?

Your sammich idea sounds glorious. Do you put anything other than avocado on them?

Here's my recipe:

1 ripe (Not nasty, but like, it's not hard.) avocado

1/4th of a lime

6 slices of bread (Preferably like heart pepperidge farms bread.)

Salt

Cut the avocado in half, using a spoon to get out the ginormous seed. Then, using the spoon, dig out all of the actual edible stuff onto a small dish from both sides of the avocado. Use a fork to mash all of it so it's a nice consistency, as in, no chunks at all. Put in about two dashes of salt and a good bit of the lime juice, but not enough to really be anything more than a small kick. Mix it all together using the fork. Then, spread this mixture on each slice of bread, put them together and you get sandwich.

Eat it. Enjoy it. Convert.
