I received a call at 7:30 this morning letting me know that a friend passed away on Monday. I refuse to laud the dead simply because they are dead, but I also refuse to vilify them. I can't say that I was close to this person anymore. I fully admit I cut ties when his drug use got to be too much to handle, just a couple of years ago. Still got
