So.
As you may know [or not know] I had to get contacts that would help with my astigmatism in my right eye. I did not think to put an extra set in my purse for the "just in case" scenarios, so this is how it went:
My right contact had been bothering me a little bit all morning so I decided around 11:45 or so to take it out, clean it, and try popping it back in. Well, upon pulling it out, I noticed a slight tear in it and tossed it out. I took the left contact out and put it in the case because the strain on the eyes to work together were playing on my eyes and head and I do not like headaches so much.
After sitting and trying to adjust my eyes to the computer screen, I remembered that I should have had my old green contacts in the bottom of my purse. So I started to dig into "The Black Hole" and found them. I put the right contact in and it was a little murky and I saw the solution in the cup was a little dirty. So I tossed out the solution and grabbed my solution out of my purse. I filled the cup and proceeded to wash the contact. When it looked clean, I popped it back in. It was clean but I noticed that it burned a little bit. I chalked it up to my eye being scratched a little by the contact and proceeded to toss out the other side and wash that contact, too. When I popped the left one in I noticed it burned a little, too. I blinked my eyes a few times and decided to put some of my lubricating drops in to settle them down.
I grabbed the eye drops out of my purse and tossed the solution back in. What I saw made me laugh so loud that Atalie heard me all the way over to her desk plain and clear.
What did I see?????????????????????
Yes, ladies and gentlemen...... I washed my contacts in Saline Nasal Spray.
I have since drownedededed both eyes with the eye drops and they have settled back down. But. If you think you are having a bad day, just remember... you did not pour salt water into your eyes.
Dear Goddess... please find that blonde hair and PULL IT! PULL IT NOW!
