what about a turbo 2.3 and a 5 speed?

It's got VTEC yo! I'm going to miss The 300HP in the Lincoln, but I'm looking for 40MPG.

The 2.3L will fit fine, methinks. I should have kept the Monza so I could slide that 350V8 in there. Even a supercharged Miata drivetrain would be fun. It only weighs 1700lbs.

But why should I compromise?

OMG - electric drivetrain in that would be the geek-bomb.
You would *have* to let me take a ride in it, otherwise I would pester you to death.
