I saved this, hoarded it for a day when I really, really craved a bit of Sam and Jack goodness, and I was not in the least bit disappointed.

There was angst! Lonely Jack, totally unable to admit it, sublimating it in to grumpiness, because he doesn't have a clue what to do with vulnerability when it's his own.

There was InJack'sHead!Daniel, and then Real!Daniel who is no doubt going nuts now that Jack has turned of his phone, and Sam is honoring Jack's request not to answer Daniel's calls or texts for the next day or so...

There is Jack's Plan B for his life now, and the way they are building a life together and handling big issues, and still not "talking" in the traditional sense, because they suck at that.

But really, you had me at Scandoscotan.

Isn't it funny .. I come back and read this a little more than a year later .. and it still make me happy! 😀
