FIRST: Crop you base to your liking. I'm using
this one from
vm-caps.com ![](http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g115/Pendora-lass/Tutorials/2Screen.jpg)
SECOND: Duplicate your base twice and set both to screen 100%. This step will vary depending on how bright your image is to start with...just play around with the opacity until you figure out what works for your image.

THIRD: Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves...and input these settings:
RGB:
First Point: Input: 227, Output: 255
Second Point: Input: 126, Output: 162
Third Point: Input: 83, Output: 106
Fourth Point: Input: 50, Output: 60
Fifth Point: Input: 14, Output: 3
(If you're confused about these setting, take a look at this
screenshot. You can also check out the curves tutorial by

FOURTH: Take the curves layer you've just created and drag in under the first screen layer (right above your original base). Set this layer to normal 47%. Duplicate this curves layer and set the duplicate to multiply 47%.
FIFTH: Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves...and input these settings:
RGB: Input: 116, Output: 147
BLUE: Input: 105, Output: 147
(NOTE: As you're inputting these curve settings, the image might not be too attractive looking, but don't worry, as you add the next few layers the colors will correct themselves.)
