Thanks, PJ :) And yes, it's definitely something I've noticed in parents and their children. I myself have sometimes resented the fact that I got a certain trait or characteristic from one of my parents...I'd rather just be "me" I suppose.

For a first LOST fic, this is amazing. Really, I'm not just saying that. I adore the look into Charlie's past, and how he resented being compared to his mother or father and how that was such a big part of character.

And then how Aaron changed all that...aww, words fail me! Just Charlie seeing Claire in the baby and then seeing HIMSELF is so sweetly perfect and melt-worthy!! That part 'foolish as he knew it might seem, Aaron had inherited his ears' made me grin like a lunatic. :D As did the last line, the echoing of the description of Charlie's smile...

And we're gonna get a HUNDRED of these!? -is ecstatic-

I've always seen Charlie as Aaron's father as he IS the one who has loved him, cared for him, been there for him since he was born. And since people always say their whole perspective changes once they become a parent I thought Aaron would be to the one to do that for Charlie.

And we're gonna get a HUNDRED of these!? -is ecstatic-

That is the plan! I hope I can get to all of them. But this one didn't take too much time once I committed to it, so maybe it will be easier to finish the challenge than I thought it would :)

I know I said it before but really, this is just ADORABLE. Great use of the prompt and photograph - that baby's ears really do look like Dom's don't they? Haha, poor kid ^_^

Thanks, Ellin! I think this was a good one for me to start out with as it was light and (therefore) somewhat easier than some other story lines I could have attempted.

My first fanfiction was actually a poem lol. And then I did a Charlie-centric fic and it all just kind of snowballed from there =P

Awww this was absolutely adorable! I just love Charlie and Aaron's relationship so much, and this was just perfect. The thought of Aaron inheriting a bit of Charlie is just so heart warming! I'm still 'awwing' as I type. :D You did a brilliant job with this, and well done!

Charlie and Aaron's relationship was probably my most favorite relationship of all :( Thank goodness there's fanfiction though....where their relationship can live on :)
