Gah. So sad. I think you have a very good sense of the characters--Des' avoidance of conversation with Claire; Claire's observation of everything being lifeless instead of vibrant; Charlie's "Fate, I s'pose" and his confession of love... Perfect.

I'm very glad to hear that. With this only being my second Lost fanfic I'm constantly questioning whether or not I even have enough experience writing the characters for them to be portrayed accurately. So I'm glad to hear I'm not totally off the mark :)
