Interesting Junk
Well, we're back from Florida. It was an amazing weekend and I really enjoyed all the relaxation and the opportunity to visit and spend time with my family. Christianity is a hard religion to group together like that. For the most part, yes, it does say that the only way to "The Father" is through Christ. But while alot are vocal, that 'alot' is actually just a very small group of the whole. You just never really notice it since they are the more vocal bunch.
And "Why would anyone willingly put themselves through a religion that teaches absolute right and wrong, and eternal torment"? Because its what we believe we must/should do for our God. Its not like its any sort of punishment for us, or like we're missing out on living any other kind of life. We believe that God has set down rules that are there to keep us from doing the wrong things. How is living by those rules going to hurt us? =P
