I really need to be studying for my oral exam right now, but I'm giving myself 5 minutes to post. I'm really freaking excited about the opera next weekend! We're doing Dialogues of the Carmelites (In French, none of this English crap. haha!) It's going to be freaking powerful! Well, the bad thing about Westminster is our performance space is basically an old airplane hangar (But the program is great, so we put up with it). So, there is a stage at one end, and then it's just a big open space. There is no pit, and the stage is pretty small and there isn't much wing space at all. That's what I mean by not a traditional theater. When I think of an performance space for opera, I think of stage, pit, and actual seats that are always there...not chairs they have to set up. It's going to be pretty cool though because there will be audience around the platform, so it will definitely be a more intimate setting. :)

The opera is this weekend! I'm excited! I'll let you know how it goes. :)

In other news, I passed my oral exam!!! Yay! I'm so glad it's over. I'm graduating!!!
