Danke~! I'm rather pleased with it myself, considering how much I'd disliked it before. Somehow I was able to tweak everything back into place at the last minute. XP

Also I was le tired of fandom!Heath not reciprocating. Tormenting him is good fun and all, but I happen to like my OTPs to be consensual - and I'm sure Legault prefers it this way, too. It makes him happeh and not teh emo. =O

omgwtf! Ammy, I totally just found an entirely different intro to this that I don't remember writing at all. o.O

Legault usually returned from his 'outings' looking smug. He'd waltz through the door, deposit a sack of goods in Heath's lap, and drape himself over a chair or over his companion while smiling that infuriating smirk of his. Heath would glare at him and dump the bag's contents all over the floor. Weapons, gems, trinkets, purses would glitter and wink up at him, most of them clearly valuable and all of them stolen

Nonono, see, I almost like it better like this, 'cause it's like two for the price of one! :D This is fantastic too, and I love the bit with the necklace and I'm having entirely too much fun wondering how, in fact, Legault does get those belt buckles.
