Since my Coast to Coast AM subscription ran out a while ago, I've been kind of vaguely looking for new podcasts to listen to during work. NPR's This American Life (stories about ordinary people blah blah blah) and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me (a news/comedy game show) are both great (both of those are iTunes links, btw), and Times Online's The Bugle ( ( Read more... )

I'd suggest picking up New From Lake Wobegone. Sadly, the entire Prairie Home Companion is not available, but you can at least get that monologue.

Been meaning to do an entry like this! Thanks for the recs, I needed a few more to fill my hours.

I don't have much else to suggest, except maybe the Penny Arcade/PvP D&D campaign podcast? Even if you're not a huge D&D fan, it's pretty hilarious, and Wil Wheaton joins them in season two! The third season has been even better than the first two, so far.

Also there's the Stuff You Should Know podcast, which is a bit like wiki-researching on the go and pretty random in subject matter. They've got other podcasts through there, but I haven't tried any out yet.
