In Need of a Distraction

Sometimes the brain's capacity to hold useless information and observations is a hindrance.  We need to empty them or risk spending the day channeling Dr. Tony Hill (Wire in the Blood), mumbling like caged mental patients.  Or is that just me ( Read more... )

UGH that totally sucks. I'm in the same boat; wanting to go to bed early, but when I beat the insomnia with Excedrin PM (take that, insomnia!) I sleep in till noon, and the whole point of going to bed at ten was to get up at a decent hour like six or seven instead of lying around like a lush. AND add hormones-- are hormones and time of lunar placement playing a role in this for you?-- and I'm burrowing down through a bag of sun chips like there's diamonds at the bottom... plus no chocolate is safe in our apartment. So we don't keep much around, which doesn't help me. At all ( ... )
