No Rules. No Problem.

While looking for All Hail Megatron #16, I accidentally stumbled on some StarCraft comics.

Whuh? Since when did they make SC comics?

Apparently, DC does and it started this year. XD And it's co-written by none other than Simon Furman himself!

The art in the comic is kind of confusing, especially during action scenes. Sometimes I can't even tell the humans apart (too many bald dudes ;_;) and the style isn't something I usually go for. But the plot is interesting and it has to do with SC2 canon.

This is relevant to my interests since I've been waiting for SC2 for over a decade.

That game honestly can't come soon enough. ;_; It was the first game that truly made me feel for the characters. I still hate Mengsk with a passion. I still identify with Raynor and wish him all the best. I still feel sorry for Kerrigan (yes, even after Brood War). I still want to pounce on miss Tassadar. And Fenix. I'd say I felt sorry for Zeratul, but he'd probably punch me in the back of the head.

The first time I saw Tassadar sacrifice himself, I actually cried.

So I can't wait to see what the next game brings. Hell, I MADE this computer just to play it (and Diablo 3, which I hope comes out soon too).

But what I sort of don't like is how branched the canon-media has become. Oh, I love the richness of the 'history' of the game universe and all, but I feel that in order to know everything, you'd need to buy multiple novels, comics, and other things. Yes it fleshes out the story more, but a) it feels like a cash grab (which it is) and b) it feels like a bloody research project. (Major?) Characters from these other sources (i.e. outside the first game) will make appearances in SC2, and argh, I'd like to know more about them before actually playing them. Hopefully Blizzard finds a way to intro them without making me feel left in the dark, because that would completely turn me off.

Sigh. Ah well, in Blizzard we trust. :p

Now, for a dose of AWESOME!
