A-ahhh, ah…?!?!
…
[She shouldn’t have meddled with the music box that she had come across with that same day on Valentine’s Day, when she was heading home from school. This was the immediate thought that crossed her mind, not knowing what would be the consequences in interacting with the music box. After all, she was already in a disheartened mood with herself since she had been unable to give Kazehaya the homemade chocolates that she had specifically made for him. Having found out from Kurumi herself that he was not the kind of person that accepted love chocolates from anyone, Sawako couldn’t get it off her mind that these homemade chocolates were something much more special than a sign of gratitude; it was most likely that he too would reject her own chocolates and the mere thought of that intimidated her so. Sawako had longed wished to give these chocolates to Kazehaya, but seeing as she lost her opportunity at the end, she simply continued on home. Sure enough however, something happened between the process of going home as Sawako now found herself in a completely different world where she simply carried her bag of chocolates and two other items that she couldn’t even recognize; a key and a seal of sorts.
As she stood by herself in the unfamiliar hallway, she noticed that no one was around to ask questions to and receive answers that would perhaps fill her in on what was occurring. Perhaps, she was merely just imagining it all and would soon awaken from this crazy daydream. However, that was not the case at all as she had pinched herself and immediately felt the slight pain on her arm. She sure was in some trouble now. What would her parents say?! What would they do as soon as they discovered that she was not back home that evening?! And what about her friends? Would they also wonder where she had gone? And Kazehaya… she never was able to give him the chocolates now. Sawako’s expression was clearly distressed as she tried very hard to just hold back the tears that wanted to slide down her pale cheeks.
She was all by herself, a lonesome feeling that she had not felt for in such a long time. So long that she had nearly forgotten what it felt like to be alone, with no one to talk to or share fond memories with. She remembered how before, she wouldn’t mind being by herself as she simply blended into the background, while everyone else interacted with one another in a carefree spirit. What she always wanted… friendships with fond memories to look back on and smile. Now that she had briefly lost all of that, being in an unfamiliar world, she was completely lost. Wherever she was, she would try to make the best of it and go home as soon as possible. There was no use in always looking at the dark side of things because nothing would be necessarily achieved that way.
Having finally convinced herself after a few more minutes, Sawako began exploring the vast hallway, not knowing what or who to expect.]
