Ever since that massacre(they couldn't even capture that man), Tsuna had been even more withdrawn than before. All his life he had felt he was absolutely 'no-good' but the feeling had never felt as strong as it did now. He couldn't protect his friends here. Why would anyone want him to become boss if he couldn't do that? His throat closed up when he recalled Ruca's bloody, lifeless body, Yamamoto on that hospital bed, the broken bodies of his friends when they ( ... )

"Tsu...na?"

Ruca never noticed when the door to the room opened. He only realized that Tsuna is here, when the other wrapped his arms around him. The silver-haired boy stared with wide eyes at his friend, but the look of surprise quickly vanished from his face. Yet he neither pulled back nor returned the hug.

All of this reminded him so terribly about the time when he was tricked and stabbed by Hasta. His wounds were so severe that he was in coma for three days. But when he woke up, his friends were right there, hugging him and telling him that they're glad he's awake...

"I-I'm... sorry."

But this time was different. This time he proved that he’s useless. He still didn’t know why he’s even alive; he was sure he really got killed by that man. And those memories...

"I'm... so sorry." His voice was weak and before he knew, he started to cry.

He squeezed his eyes shut tightly and gave a shaky laugh.

"Ruca? What are you apologizing for? You did nothing wrong." Sometimes, Tsuna wished he was more like Kyoko or Yamamoto, who seemed to know how to talk to people and comfort them much more easily than he did. He kept his arms around Ruca for a few more moments before pulling back, keeping his hands firmly on Ruca's shoulders.

"It's okay. It'll be okay," Tsuna murmured. Try as he liked, he couldn't stop the few tears escaping either. "I'm the one who is suppose to be sorry. I wasn't there to help you when you needed it."

"I... it's all my fault."

Ruca just couldn't help but blame himself for everything what happened. Just like he couldn't help, but think that it won't be okay. Not anymore. Almost like a terrible nightmare he experienced took every last bit of hope he had.

And when Tsuna apologized for not being there, Ruca looked up at him with a frown.

"You have nothing to apologize for." He looked down again, almost like he was trying to avoid Tsuna's gaze. "If I... wasn't like that... it would never happened."

If he didn't have Asura's soul, that man would never attack him... right?
