What about consequences? Did you notice any?

Nothing outright negative was noted, it seemed that the few failures were benign or rather, misinterpreted.

So phrasing matters more than intent.

Phasing certainly seems to play a large part in it. But none of the subjective ones would have worked at all if intent was not acknowledged.

Yeah. I'm living with Eraqus now.

And is this Eraqus a good person like Aqua was?

Yeah! He's like her dad. He taught her a lot of things, ever since she was little.

[ he can certainly appreciate fathers ]

That's good. I'm glad you found someone trustworthy.

What's your name?

Hmph, so my idiot partner still hasn't shown his head? Sheesh... At least Medusa's been quiet; I can only hope she really has disappeared.

I don't know what to tell you, Maka. I'm beginning to wonder now if I just imagined talking to him.

As for Medusa... I apologize. I thought I'd be able to pinpoint her location in a city like this where she can't run outside it's boundaries, but I've found no trace. It's inexcusable.

... It's all right, Kid-- I know you aren't making it up, but... This isn't like him at all, so maybe he just-- isn't around anymore.

[she's trying not to sound too disappointed by this, but it's fairly evident on her face]

You don't need to apologize for that, either. Besides, she probably knows we'd be keeping a lookout for her anyway and figured out a way to stay well hidden.

That's certainly possible. Even in the time I've been here, a large number of people have gone missing. And if Soul has returned home, he can tell Shibusen of our whereabouts and safety.

[ he sees the look ] ... are you all right, Maka?

Splendor's exceedingly liberal with its interpretation of wishes. Your results could prove useful.

I agree, which is why it's important to test as many variables as possible if we're to make any use of the system.
