From what I understand they can't do anything until the act is actually physically being carried out - they won't sense it, I mean. But they seem to have the ability to be there in a second.

That's... not as reassuring as I'd hoped it would be. But if they can really get there that quickly, then hopefully that's fine.

The things I've read lead me to believe that the local citizens of Splendor have the otherworldly ability to transport through the shadows and make themselves instantly involved. I wouldn't worry too much.

Yeah, you're probably right. The people I've talked have all said that there's others who work hard to make sure Splendor is safe, not just the locals.
