First Firefly - [Action]

[presumablyalone]

[Seto's eyes are slightly dead as he stumbles into the Golden Entranceway, falling to his knees and his head down.  He clutches the black feather thats in his hand as he lets out a weak cry.  Not from pain, but from sorrow.  He rubs his eyes with his wrist and looks up]

....Where...am I?  ....Sai?  [He sniffles and stands up, obviously shivering.

[Firo hangs back, watching the poor kid cry a bit before walking over. He cautiously puts a hand on his shoulder.]

Hey, you okay, pal?

[presumablyalone]

[The hand startles Seto and he quickly looks at him, tears rolling down his cheeks. He looks away and wipes the tears away with his slightly wet sleeves]

I-I'm all right... [He sniffles and takes a deep breath to recover, at least enough to talk without his voice shaking] Who are you..?

I'm Firo Prochainezo. What's your name? I guess you're new here...

M-My name is Seto... [He finally looks back at Firo with a slightly confused look on his face] What do you mean?

Action

[immamartillo]

[He tries to put on an encouraging smile.]

It's nice ta' meet'cha, Seto.

[But that look fades as he tries to find the best way to explain all this.]

...Well... I'm sorry, but this isn't home. It's a whole 'nother world, called Splendor.

It's nice to meet you too..Firo.

[Seto tries his best to smile, but the fear of Firo being a doll like Crow...makes him worry.]

Another world? But how? I was in the dam with Sai and Crow...

[immamartillo]

Ah, did you find a music box? What happens is, we find a music box and it... well, it just takes us here.

I'm sorry you hadda' leave your friends...

[He gives a half smile]

But, hey, time won't pass back home, so you'll be able to go right back to what was happenin' before you left.

I do remember the music box but once the weird things started to appear, I thought I was dreaming.

[This makes him frown, not wanting to go to that specific time. He looks at the black feather]

Oh...At least Sai won't have to worry...

Yeah, one good thing!

[His eyes linger on the feather, but considering the state poor Seto's in, he decides not to ask about it.]

And, this crazy place was nice enough ta' give ya a place to stay while you're here. You have a key on you, right?

Action

[presumablyalone]

[He nods and blinks when he mentions the key, looking down to notice the key that's dangling around his neck next to his locket.]

How did this get around my neck?

Action

[immamartillo]

[He laughs]

Nobody knows. ...There's a lotta mystery about this whole place. I just try not ta' think about it too much.

[He holds his hand out to the key]

Can I see it? It should have your room number on it.

Action

[presumablyalone]

I guess it is best not to think too much about it.

[Seto nods and takes the necklace off, placing the key in his hand] Here.

Thanks.

[He takes it and looks it over to make sure it's a Splendor key, then he holds it out for Seto.]

So, your room number will go on here. There are a few different districts in Splendor: Alpine, Golden, Metropolis, Bungalows... Wonderland and Alpha. Your key looks different dependin' on where you are.

[He takes back the key when it's held out to him, putting it back around his neck so he doesn't lose it]

There are a lot of places to live! [He starts to smile] Are there...a lot of people in those places??

There sure are!

[He smiles back when it looks like Seto might be feeling okay.]

Oh, yeah! There are tons of people. Not as many as in my city back home, but a lot!

[This excites Seto a lot. He smiles as his eyes begin to water, though they're happy tears]

And...this is all real right? No one is a doll?
